This unique cultural space is located in the capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife on the island of Tenerife. The design of the building of TEA was made by the Pritzker earner and world known architectural duo Herzog and de Meuron. They collaborated with the Spanish architect Virgilio Gutiérrez. Finished in 2008 the new building of TEA with more than 20.000sqm space consists of the Óscar Domínguez Institute, the Alejandro Cioranescu Island Library and the Center for Photography Island of Tenerife. You will find also a cinema theatre in TEA, where you can watch alternative and documentary movies like for example the Russian production Tulpan with Spanish subtitles.
